Day 1 Results

Well things got off to a very tough start today. Our mission was almost dead in the wate just after our takeoff. So after shaking off some rust and taking 2 really bad bad-beats our BR dropped down to just a hair over $2. Luckily the cards starting running hot and we worked the remaining $2 into about $31 before I had KK run into AA and then I just lost my focus and lost another $3-4. Soon as I realize my level of play had dropped, I took a break and ate some food, and decided it would be a good time to make an entry about the roller coaster ride I went today. The ending BR was just above $22. Set mini-goal #1 play $2 MTT or less once BR is at $50+.

Well, this is blogging? Seems an awful lot like emailing with a purpose. I’m gonna give this blogging business a try and I will be documenting my mission of building my poker BR up from $9 all the way up to $5000. Ideally I would like to do this in the next 6 months, but not sure how much playing time I’m going to have throughout the challenge. Well those are my goals for now, time will tell though. I definitely think it’s an achievable goal. My only concern is going to be, whether or not I still have the ability to beat the online NL games. I definitely could beat the games 2+ years ago, but I’m sure online poker has lost even more fish and even the micro limits are getting tougher. Will report back after todays sessions.
